Under the paint

Based on a childhood memory of seeing a fly trapped in green and blue waterproof paint on the ground, this wall installation uses fly-like forms made of wire and clay, fixed directly onto the wall and covered with spray paint. The work reflects on how covering can both preserve and erase a body, turning it into a trace, almost like a small monument.
